The sense of loss and the confusion of “what the heck happened here?” like Bioshock is present in Dead Space 2. Whereas the Ishimura just gave the feeling of a functional ship, the environments in 2 feel like the sum of their parts. Lighting was amazing, so was sound, and story started really good, but became distracted into something else which was decent. I loved this game from beginning to the very end.
I dont know, It kinda of reminded me of uncharted with some of the set pieces, but in space. The designs could become somewhat repetitive. This game can be somewhat difficult at times, but that wasn't an issue for me. Im a fan of body dismemberment, which i also dont think there is enough of in games, and I love horror, which this one did a lot better job at than the first. Loved the attention to detail like seeing water particles in zero-g's.
